Natural, Sustainable, Recyclable, Biodegradable.
Absorbs odors, VOC's and Formaldehyde thereby promoting healthier indoor air quality (fact.)
Premium insulator for sound and temperature. Significantly reduces sound transmission to adjacent and living spaces below.
Regulates humidity by absorbing and releasing moisture.
Very low flammability and self-extinguishing.
Superior resiliency without breaking down, resists wrinkling.
Holds 30% of its weight in moisture w/o feeling wet.
     
 

 

 
Specifications:

Roll size = 3ft W x 33.4ft L x 3mm Thick (100 ft' ), Roll packaged in tight 4mil plastic tubing Rolls shipped in boxes.

Significantly reduces sound transmission to adjacent and living spaces below, reduces noise level and deepens the tone of impact noise on hard flooring.

Acoustic Wool Underlayment Installation Instructions

 

 
     
 

Step 1: Simply roll out Wool Underlayment with the wool side facing down onto the subfloor and the plastic moisture barrier facing up.

 
  Step 2: Use plastic tape ( 1 ½” to 2” width ) over the seems of each adjoining Wool Underlayment section. (See photo A)  
  Step 3: The floating floors rests on top of the moisture barrier and wool facing down will absorb any moisture created by the subfloor. (See photo B)
